I always learned something from being in his company. I offer the Mahorter family my sincerest condolences and hope fond memories comfort you in the coming years.

It was a great experience to have known and worked with Bob. He was truly an extraordinary individual as a person and engineer. Always the facts...analysis, reasoning, the answer...exceptionally good judgment and sense of humor. Bob was with us in memory just weeks ago in our visit to MIT. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I truly appreciated Bob's practical approach to different analysis/problems with Gas Turbine Engines on Navy aircraft. He helped me several times with different issues and convincing others that this was the correct thing to do to better support Navy aircraft. I will miss his advice and insight.

I had the honor privilege of working with Bob for many years at NAPC and at Exelis, sharing his knowledge and experience. Known to many of us as" The Keeper of the Wisdom" I will miss his dry humor, his fishing stories and his love of working for the Navy. To his family rest assured he served his country well.

It was my privilege to have worked with Bob at NAPC Trenton from 1990-1995. He was a great resource and inspiration to many of us because of his technical expertise--but more importantly he was a very fine man, and a standout colleague I will always remember.
My condolences to you and your family on your loss.
