Obituary of Edith M. Claypoole

Edith M. Claypoole (nee Proudfoot) of Atco, NJ passed away suddenly on November 19, 2014 at the age of 97 years. Mrs. Claypoole was the beloved wife of Clarence H. Claypoole of Atco. Loving mother of Barbara A. Veilleux and Judith A. Tapper both of Atco, NJ. Sister of Lillian R. Anderson of Georgetown, SC. She was a proud grandmother of Barbara Jo Bartels, Kimberly Jill Bartels, Judith P. Dowell, Ruth L. Berwick, Brenda J. Banes, Diana L. Hicks and the late Beth A. Petrakis, the late Joyce D. Flemming and the late David A. Tapper. Also surviving are 23 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family on Monday, November 24th. 10:00am to 11:00am at the Atco United Presbyterian Church, 2259 Atco Ave., Atco, NJ 08004. A Funeral Service officiated by the Rev. Dr. Joseph Beggs will begin at 11:00am. Interment will follow at the Atco Cemetery, Atco, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Atco United Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.
