Obituary of Terence Doherty

Terence Doherty, 81, of Barrington, passed away on December 16, 2014 at home. Terence was born August 20, 1933 at Highgate Hill, London, England. He moved to the United Stated in the 1950's shortly after marrying Eileen C Farrell. Terence had a long career as a Publishing Sales Representative, working for Bantam Books, New American Library, Harper and Row and Simon and Schuster. In his later years he was an Associate Publisher for Middle Atlantic Press. He is survived by his son, Ian Doherty (Patricia), grandson, Paul Doherty, granddaughter, Jillian Doherty, niece, Lynn (Veronica) Filbert, nephews, Terence (Jean) Filbert and Jeffrey (Valeria) Filbert and great nephews, Vincent Filbert and Benjamin Filbert. Predeceased by his wife, Eileen C. Doherty (nee Farrell) and his sister, Pat Filbert. Services for Mr. Doherty were held privately at the request of the family and under the direction of the LeRoy P.
