Joe and I met about 5 years ago. He and I shared many laughs during afternoons after work. We talked sports, fishing, news, politics.... whatever was the topic of the day. I will deeply miss Joe. While I never had the opportunity to meet his late wife, it became clear to me in the many conversations we had that Joe missed her very much. He was sad without her and it left him with a void that just couldn't be filled. Despite this, Joe found ways to laugh and brightened the days of those around him. I am so glad to have shared good times with him, and I will think of him often. I know that now he is in a better place and is once again with his beloved wife. Thank you Joe for befriending me and for the many good times we had together. I will always remember you.
