Obituary of Michael P. Palischak

Michael P. Palischak, Sr., age 62 of Sicklerville, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday July 29, 2012. Michael was born in and had been a lifetime resident of Sicklerville. He was tenacious, had a strong work ethic and mastered whatever he did. Mike had been the owner and operator of Michael Palischak Construction Co. for over 25 years in Sicklerville and was an avid billiards player, along with his son and played in many pool leagues every Monday night. Horses had been a longtime passion that he shared with his wife Lou Ann who he met barrel riding. Michael was a member of NBHA, IBRA and USTPA. He really loved his horses Mr. Peppe's Playboy, his red mare Dizzy Lou Dash and his once in a lifetime, team penning champion horse Winny. Michael is survived by his wife Lou Ann Palischak (nee Mirro). He is the father of Mark Bilder, Michael P., Jr. and Michele Palischak. Michael is the proud grandfather of Frankie & Zachary Bilder and is also survived and will be sadly missed by his brother Albert DeSantis, his sister Christine Sannipoli and his faithful companions Tobey & Scooter. Relatives and friends are invited to remember Michael & pay tribute to "the cowboy" on Tuesday evening between 7 pm and 9 pm and on Wednesday morning between 11 am and 12 pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, where a funeral ceremony will be held at 12 pm. Inurnment will be held privately.
