Obituary of Frank Peraine

Frank Peraine, Sr. age 94 of Galloway Twp., NJ passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, August 2, 2012. Frank is survived by his daughter and her husband Nancy (nee Peraine) and Joseph Marto of Florida and a son, Frank Peraine, Jr. of Galloway Twp., NJ. He is also survived by his sister, Louise Suleta of Maple Shade, NJ. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 39 years, Elizabeth Peraine. Mr. Peraine was a honored and decorated Veteran who served in the US Army during World War II. He received a Purple Heart. The Unit that he was a member of, the 88th, Division "Blue Devils" 351st. Infantry received the Presidential Citation. Frank also received 2 bronze stars, the Distinguished Service Medal, Distinguished Unit Badge, Combat Infantry Badge, Good Conduct Medal, the European African Middle Eastern Service Medal along with many citations and awards as a Section Leader with the 351st. Infantry as a mortor gunner and Squad Leader and Section Chief. Relatives and friends are invited to meet the family of Frank Peraine, Sr. during a visitation Tuesday morning 10:00 to 11:00am at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home & Crematory 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, where a funeral ceremony will be held at 11:00am. Interment with Military Honors will be held at the Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, 109 BLVD. 50, Mays Landing, NJ. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers donations in Frank's memory can be made to the Hartland Hospice, 2111 New Rd., Northfield, NJ 08225.
