Diane Pilone age 54 years of W. Berlin, NJ passed away peacefully at her home with her loving family by her side on September 10, 2012. Berlin her sisters, Virginia (Ginger) DeLorenzo (Al) of Palm City, FL, Angela Bronzini (Angelo) of Berlin, NJ and Patricia "Pip" Pilone (Ron Sussman) of Cherry Hill, NJ. Diane is also survived by her niece and nephews, Sandy Giannini (Nick), Joseph Parone, Rich Robinson, Michael DeLorenzo and Kevin DeLorenzo and her great niece and nephew, Angelina and Nicky Giannini.
Diane was dedicated to her faith, She served as a Eucharistic Minister for Christ the Redeemer Parish/Assumption Church for many years. She was a dedicated Emmaus Sister. Her faith gave her the strength to accept the path that God has given to her. "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most burdensome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you the most you would leave me." The Lord replied, "My dear child, I love you and I would never leave you. During the times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you." And like our Lord, Diane carried those who she came in contact with her during her life.
Diane was an incredible mother and the "Best" sister that anyone could ask for. Her sense of humor brighted any room that she walked into, even while going through all of the treatments for cancer that she so valiantly fought against.
