Obituary of Joseph Arthur Woodill

Joseph A. Woodill, age 92, of Waterford, NJ, passed away on Saturday April 21, 2018 after battling lung disease. Beloved husband of the late Stella Woodill (nee Yakimchuk). Loving father of John R. Woodill, Sr., Kathleen Cassalia, Christine Hamilton, Ronald Woodill, and Joseph Woodill. Proud grandfather of 18 and great-grandfather of 11. He is also survived and will be sadly missed by 2 siblings. Joseph was born in Philadelphia, PA and resided in Waterford since 1976. He proudly served as a medic in the US Army during World War II. He then went on to work as a salesman for many years. Visitation will be held on Monday April 30, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Christ the Redeemer Parish/St. Anthony's Church, 436 Pennington Ave., Waterford, NJ 08089. A funeral mass will begin at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ.
