Nickaba - it's been a year since you left us and my heart is very heavy today. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you. I know that you're in a better place but I can't help but feel selfish and wish you were back here with us. It's said that time heals all wounds, but the reality is, the wound remains. In time, the mind, protecting its sanity, covers them with scar tissue and the pain lessens. But the pain is never gone. xoxo
