Obituary of Orris D. Steelman

Orris (Bud) Steelman On September 23, 2004 age 95yrs. Husband of the late Dorothy. Originally from Highlands NJ, recently of Jackson and Voorhees NJ. Mr. Steelman is survived by a niece Rosemary Purcell, a nephew Robert Mazzacco and a neice Joy Randall and their families. He is a retired Superintendent of the Model Shop at Evans Engineering Laboratory at Ft. Monmouth, NJ. He was proud of his participation in the first Radar contact with the moon. He is a former Fire Chief of Highlands Fire Co, Highlands, NJ, a Captain of the First Aid Squad a member of Highlands School Board and a Life member of the Masons. He will be missed. Interment will be private.
