Obituary of Jean H. Goins

Jean H. Goins (nee Drozdowski) On December 9, 2005 at her home in Atco, NJ, after a long illness due to Alzheimers Disease and cancer. Wife of the late Charles P. Goins. Survived by son Charles P. Goins, Jr. and daughters Jeanna (Greg) Lindsay, Dorothy (Matthew) Maradeo, Agnes (James) Massara and Catherine (Frank) Brigandi; grandchildren Janis (Wayne) Duffy, Christine (Darryl) Sebastian, Catherine Lindsay, Jim (Maria) Bompensa, Jacqueline Massara, Susan Massara, Greg (Chandra) Maradeo, Christine (Christopher) Wilkerson, Casey Goins, Stephanie Goins, and 5 great grandchildren, William, Sean and Danile Duffy and Annabelle and Sarah Sebastian. Jean was a lifelong resident of Atco. She will be remembered as being devoted to her family, a true friend and an organizer of social and craft groups. She was a caregiver to young and old of many local families and enjoyed square dancing as a hobby. A lifelong parishioner of Assumption RC Church, she was involved in many church functions. Jean was also an accomplished seamstress and was especially known for Aunt Jeans chocolate chip cookies and cakes. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Tuesday evening from 7pm to 9pm and again Wednesday morning from 8:30am to 9:30am at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco (856)767-0539. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am Wednesday at Assumption RC Church, 318 Carl Hasselhan Dr., Atco, NJ 08004. Interment, Atco Cemetery, Atco. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Assumption Church at the address listed above or to Senior Care of Voorhees, 1000 Voorhees Dr., Voorhees, NJ 08043.
