I would like to extend my very deepest, heartfelt sympathy to Rick's family and all of his many friends. I feel honored to have had the pleasure to share in his stories and have a surplus inventory of memories to call on now. I believe Rick felt honored by his friends and the outpouring of love and care that came from them. We are all lucky to have that in our lives and we were luckier to have him. We will miss you forever but as long as we can still talk or do sign language, we will keep your memory going as well as your fine spirit... We wish you well dear friend, until we meet again.

Yes, he will be sadly missed by all who knew him. How true that is. I am so grateful to have such wonderful memories of times shared with Rick, so that once the sadness lifts a little I will smile often when he comes to mind, without tears. And there will be lots of things to spark those memories. Peanut Butter crackers, ketchup bottles, hot tubs, bumper curbs in florida, "sweet or salty?", black and white milkshakes, his wonderful laugh, his sharp wit and intellect, how great he was at telling a story and most of all how he cared for his family and friends.
I know we shall meet again.

My thoughts and prayers go out to your family. Rick was a great individual and had a wonderful sense of humor. He was contracted by Wells Fargo (formerly Norwest) and helped my staff out numerous times while I managed the sorter room there. He will be greatly missed.

To the Thomas family: I am so sorry for your loss. When I heard the news it was very difficult to go back to work. Rick worked on my team for the Norwest/Wells Fargo merger. We continued to keep in touch after he left Wells Fargo. His dedication to his job was amazing! A key resource to the bank. He always spoke very highly of his family. His humor during the tough times was welcomed. I particularly remember the Eagles/Cardinals game we attended. Eagles won and Rick got a sunburn, but he enjoyed himself. He also loved the chocolate raisins in my office. He called them his fruit ! May God give you peace during this time. May memories of Rick be with you forever.

My thoughts and prayers are with Fern, Noelle, Greg and their families as well as Rick's Mom Dorothy. I have known Rick since we both joined PNB in 1967 as newly minted computer programmers. Together we grew up in life as well as in computer knowledge. We gathered friends and spouses along the way. We worked hard and played harder. As our lives changed over the years we still kept in touch and as we got older, and had more disposable income, our group of friends started going on vacation together and we stored up a lot of memories and stories. This is such a sad time for all of Ricks real and extended family but we all know that when we are together it won't be long before we are telling a "Rick Story" and laughing out loud...just as he always did. I'll miss you Rick, but I will never forget you.

My thoughts and best wishes go out to Rick's family. I have known Rick for a number of years when he worked as a consultant here in Minneapolis for Norwest Services. Rick was one of the finest people I have ever known. Rick was an extremely hard worker and a fun loving individual and I very much enjoyed working with him. I was sad when he left and no longer worked for Norwest/Wells but I am even more saddned to hear of Rick's passing. Rick's family can always be proud of the man that Rick was and the remember the fun times they had with Rick as a son, husband, father and Grandfather. Rich will be in my thoughts and prayers.
