Obituary of William C. Adams

William C. Adams Age 88yrs of Atco, NJ (Formerly of Vincentown, NJ) went home to be with the Lord on March 31, 2006. Beloved husband of 66 yrs to Veronica B. (nee Berry) Loving father of Barry W. Adams and his wife Barbara of PembertonTwp., NJ, Dale A. Wishart and her husband Raymond of Southampton, NJ, Thomas R. Adams and his wife Linda of Lumberton Twp., NJ, Jenny A. Boyce and her husband Edward of North Hanover Twp., NJ. Brother of Marian Adams-Haines of Springfield Twp., NJ. He will also be sadly missed by 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Mr. Adams was born in Medford, NJ on April 8, 1917 into a farming family and graduated from the Mt. Holly HS in 1935 where he participated in varsity football and basketball. He and his wife Veronica owned and operated Longlane Farm in Vincentown for 29 years. He was an active member of the Vincentown United Methodist Church for 57 years. He was a member of the Burlington Co. Board of Agricultural and the NJ State Farm Bureau. He was a member of Southampton Board of Education, Member of the Lenape Reg. H.S. Board of Education where he served as the custodian of School Funds for 26 years and he chaired the original building committee for the Lenape Regional High School. Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial service on Wednesday, 11:00am at the Vincentown United Methodist Church, 97 Main St., Vincentown, NJ. 08088. Interment will be private.
