Cathy was a friend to everyone and I admired her strong spirit and joy of life. She loved her family, and often shared funny stories about her grandsons. I'll remember Cathy as upbeat and loving.
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Kathy and I have been friends for 30 years. Everyone would agree that she was a wonderful person. She was also a strong fighter of life, but when God called her on a Holy Day she left quietly. She will be dearly missed.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family in this very difficult time, but one day we will all meet again.
You will be missed Kathy, but always remembered.
Love, Arlyn

Cathy was an "old" friend, as we joked. I am saddened at her passing but know she is in a better place. We had some great times in the old AIG days. I as glad I had the chance to see her, although too few times, over the last couple of years. I'll think of her fondly.

Sunday, April 16th, a hole was burned in my heart with the loss of my friend, Cathy. She gained my respect and admiration when she first came to work for me at Merchants Mutual Ins Co. She was a struggling single parent of one very special little girl. She came to work at a reduced earning to teach her daughter that the system was for those that did not have the ability to do for themselves. She took courses, studied hard and became more than just a good employee. We developed a loving friendship. Although, our paths had to separate because of our duties over the years, the love and respect I felt for her never ceased. Over the years, we had many special moments that will forever be mine. The happiness she expressed when Bob became her solemate. I will always remember the day she told me that she was going to be the mother of twins. It was a very joyous day. She didn't dress the boys alike so their individuality would blossom. I know they have become the men she was so proud to call her sons. The true joy comes to mothers when they become grandmothers. The blessing of having three beautiful grandsons completed her. She had away of expressing herself. A smile that made it difficult to dislike her. In this life we have few that can truly be called friend but Cathy was just that to me. The hole in my heart will be there until the day the Lord calls me home, too. May the Lord comfort you today and in the days to come. God Bless, Betty Lou
