Obituary of Samuel J. Thomas

On May 6, 2006 of Berlin, NJ age 85yrs. Beloved husband of Margaret Louise (nee Thompson). Devoted father of Samuel James Thomas and his wife Susan of Lowell, MA, Joseph M. Thomas and his wife Rose of Springfield, MA, William G. Thomas and his wife Sandy of Costa Mesa, CA and the late Edward L. Thomas. Loving brother of Eleanor Mansor and her husband Chick of Somerdale, NJ. Proud grandfather of 6, great grandfather of 2. Dear uncle of Lori Kennedy and her husband Jack and Roseanne Perno. Mr. Thomas was a career soldier. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel after 24 years in the US Air Force. He then spent 17 years in banking as a comptroller for People's Savings Bank of Holyoke, MA. Mr. Thomas was a member of the Lions Club and Kiwanis Club, both of Berlin, NJ. Services and interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
