Obituary of Veronica F. Yeatman

Veronica F. Yeatman 84 yrs. of 329 Franklin Ave., W. Berlin NJ (formerly of Tallahassee, FL and Long Island, NY). Mrs. Yeatman died peacefully at home by her family on Sunday, after a lengthy battle with cancer and renal failure. Beloved wife of 54 yrs. to the late John C. Yeatman, Jr. Tom who passed away in February of 2004. Devoted mother to John J. and wife Connie of Lompoc, CA and Richard T. and wife Maria of Atco, NJ. Proud grandmother to Tricia, Richard, Amy, John Robert, Shawn, Brian and Kevin and Great Grandmother to Jeremy Ryan. Loving sister to William Shea and wife Barbara of Asheboro, NC and Joseph Shea and wife Maria of Tallahassee, FL and numerous nieces and nephew. Sister-in-law to Annie Mae Vanderpool and husband Al of Cody, WY, Ray Yeatman and wife Bobbi of Tuscalloosa, AL and Marie and husband Jerome Johnson of Georgetown, TX. Veronica was born and raised in New York City and Long Island, NY. She married John in Sea Cliff, NY on April 2, 1949. She survived a post war tour of duty in Germany with both sons being born in Frankfurt, finally settling in Nesconset, NY. She retired from State Farm Insurance Co. and moved to Tallahassee FL. The couple moved to Berlin, NJ three years ago. She was a member of the Good Shepherd RC Church in Tallahassee, FL and the Assumption RC Church in Atco, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Friday, 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco (856) 767-0539. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, 10:00am at the Assumption RC Church, 318 Carl Hasselhan Dr., Atco, NJ. She will be laid to rest next to her loving husband at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin. Friends and relatives are invited to return to the former residence after the services.
