RESOLUTION
To: Dominick Petaccio, and Family:
Whereas the Almighty God saw fit to call your dearly beloved mother, Carmela F. Petaccio, home, the Principal, Faculty, Administrative and Support Staff of Henry H. Davis Elementary School of Camden, New Jersey, extend their prayers, thoughts, and deepest sympathy in the passing of your mother and loved one.
Be it resolved that bowing humbly to God’s Divine will, Carmela's mortal life has passed through all the phases and experiences allotted to it, though we are saddened by its close. Her responsibilities have been met and fulfilled. Let us take comfort in reflecting on a life well spent.
Be it further resolved that the Almighty God, who understands all things, grant you and your loved ones peace, understanding, and comfort during this your period of grief and sorrow. Moreover, may you find comfort and consolation in the words of this Scripture:
“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.� John 14:1-6
