Granny was always so generous. She took us kids to ball games, amusement parks, and day trips all the time. The best time was when David, Charlotte, Granny and I went to Baltimore Harbor to see the "new" aquarium. We finished early that day and wanted to do more. I joked and said "Let's go to Disney World!" Granny looked at me for a moment and said, "That's too far, how about Busch Gardens?" So we got in the car and I took a right turn on 95 south. We had a great time, laughing in bed at the motel, and at Busch Gardens. 60+ years old and riding those roller coasters! We forgot to call to let someone know about the 2nd day... Aunt Doris and my mom (Carol) yelled at all of us for scaring them. When she was with us it was like she was a kid herself!
Granny will always be with me.
