Nana, some of the best times we shared were at my moms house, around the holidays. When my sisters and I would get to telling stories and jokes. We would get you laughing so hard, Pampy would have to go to the car to get your oxygen. Mom would holler at us to stop, but once you caught your breath, you would tell us funny stuff, and all the laughter started all over again!I remember staying over your house, several times, and we would watch scary movies, like THE BLOB, and you and uncle Pat would scare me for days. Times like that were the best, Nana. Maybe some day I will have the chance to be the wonderful nana that you were to me. I love you and will miss you, but will never forget you.
love
your granddaughter

I will miss my Nana soooooooo much. I remember when I was younger, I could not go to her house without playing about ten games of Steal the bundle. When I got a little older I started sleeping over their house. She loved eating ice cream and watching a Mary-Kate and Ashley movie. When they first moved in I was so happy thinking that I could play cards every day. But when I realized how sick she was i was upset. I was at my father's house when she went to the hospital for the last time. My sister and I were not told about this because my mom and dad thought she would be coming home. I think that the last time I saw her was thursday night. I wish that could of spent more time with her. The thing I want her to know the most is that I love her and will "keep in touch" with her. I also want her to know that we will take great care of Pampy. Nana if you are listening................................. enjoy being able to breathe.I love you with all my heart.
Love,

Dear Mama,
You were always there for me. Anytime I needed to talk to someone, you were there to listen. You tought me to be who I am. You always said that I should follow my heart because God would never lead me in the wrong direction. You tought me to appreciate life, be happy, love my family and all the lessons I needed to know before I ever hit kindergarten!
I hope to grow old and be smiling always. Just like you.
You are beautiful to me and I will miss you more than words could ever say.
I am proud to be your grand-daughter.
I love you and will see you again someday, even if it is only in my dreams.
Love you,

My Mother, My Friend
When you were a baby you were probably wrapped in a blanket knitted my her.
When you were old enough she taught you to play steal the bundle and 500 rummey.
If you ate at her house you probably had home made spaghetti and meatballs, Gabadoodles and rice balls.
If you had a party she always brought Pizelles and cream puffs.
If you had a sofa in your house it probably had an afghan folded across the back of it that was knitted by her.
Your coffee table probably had a doilly that was crochetted by her.
If your house had a toilet in it you probably had a toilet paper doll with a dress she knitted on the tank.
She loved all her kids, But dad was her life.
After 62 years of marriage they were more then husband and wife, They were best friends.
She loved the Blessed Mother and all the people at her Church.
She helped make the food every year for the feast of Saint Joseph.
The last time I saw her I was putting her in the car to go to the hospital, I didn't know it would be the last time I do that.
The last thing I said to her was I love you.
I have learned to tell the people I love in my life that I love them, because you never know when it will be the last time.
I tell my wife I love her, I tell my kids I love them, and I tell my family I love them all, I learned that from her.
I will always love you mom, And I will miss you very much.

Mom,
I have tried to find the words that I want to say, but I keep coming back to the same thing. The plaque hanging on your wall that I gave you when I married Pat! That poem meant the world to you and it was our special bond. So, as my tribute to you I will give you that poem once again..................
You are the Mother I received, the day I wed your son. And I just want to thank you, Mom, for the things that you have done.
You have given me a gracious man, with whom I share my life. You are his lovely mother and I his lucky wife. You used to pat his little head, and now I hold his hand. You raised in love a little boy, then gave to me a man!
I love you mom and will miss you dearly! I feel blessed to be part of this family and mostly to have been loved so dearly by you. You are forever in my heart.

May God grant Josephine eternal rest. She was not only a wonderful person, but a truly devoted follower of our Lord Jesus Christ and His Catholic Church. She loved the Blessed Mother and was a prayful woman. She loved her dear Husband Carmen, her family, and her life was an expression of the charity that is the supreme command of the Holy Gospel. It was a honor to know her and be a part of her life. Sincerely, Father Pasley.

Dear Mama, Even though you weren't my grandmother, I always felt very close to you. I always looked forward to seeing you at the kids' parties. You always treated my children and I like family. You are one of the sweetest people I am glad to have known. We still have the blanket and sweater you made for little David when he was born. He still calls it his blankie! We had such a great time with you on our trip to Florida when Miranda & Caitie & Corie were little. I always admired the way you and Pampy still loved each other after all these years. I will never forget you, always smiling, never complaining. The last time I saw you, you looked so well and happy at Maddie's party. You were smiling and talking on your cell phone, which really cracked me up. I will always remember seeing you that last time. I know you are at peace now, and getting to know my mother & grandmother up there, I'm sure they are grateful for the way you treated us like family too. God Bless You! You will be missed! I will pray for Pampy and think of you always! Love, Jodi

Mom, I was so strong the week you were so sick and the week you passed away, but now I am falling apart, because I miss you so much.
When I look at your picture, when I pray, when I
drive alone, everything I do
I do with tears in my eyes.
I wrote thank you cards with
Daddy tonight and we both cried. You have always been
there, and now you're not. This isn't going to be easy,
I never could cook and bake like you, now I'll have to really get with it. I'll never get that escarole soup
down pat. You taught me so much, and I still had much to learn. Thank You for being my Mom, my friend, my church helper,a wonderful Mama to Denise and the girls. I love you with all my heart.

Thank you for all the pizzelles and cookies you made for my many parties. Thank you for all of your support and advice when I first met Lance. You told me to follow my heart and guess what? 17 Years later we're still together. Hopefully someday we will meet again in Heaven. We'll have one heck of a party and I look forward to having your pizzelles once again.
