Kelli Lynn Gant posted a condolence
To the family of Doug Sanders..I want to begin with sending my deepest condolences and my sincerest sympathy for your loss. I am the daughter of Lieutenant Les Gant, Jr..who passed away suddenly on Jan. 8th, 2004..my father and Doug were very close as they were both members of Sicklerville Fire Dept. for a number of years. I knew Doug well and I will never forget how he was so kind to my family during the time of my father's death. I want to let you know that I understand the grief you feel, and it does become easier as time goes by. You never get over it..but it becomes easier. You are in my thoughts and prayers! Take Care!!!

My Favorite Memories Of Uncle Doug
I have so many great memories of my Uncle Doug. But here are a few that really make me smile!
Lake Candle is his favorite place to camp. When I was little we went there all the time to see him. It was there at that camp ground that I learned how to tie my shoes. My Uncle Doug taught me how!
Another great memory was every year on my birthday he would give me beautiful Glass China Dolls in beautiful dresses. It was such a great surprise on my birthday to see what kind of doll I would get!
The best part about my Uncle Doug was his surprise visits! You would never know when he was coming and it was really nice when it came time for one of his surprise visits.
My Uncle was a wonderful, nice, kind, funny, clever, and smart man. He had such a kind heart. I will miss him so much and will always think of him and how much he cared.
I will miss you forever.
Love Forever,
Jessica Neger

Brother Doug,
Throughout my life I have always looked up to you. For guidance and direction. For love and friendship. For laughter and compassion. Through it all you never faltered. You were always there for me and the family. Your big hugs when I saw you. Just the way you said " Brother Jim" when I talked to you let me know we always had a special bond. I will miss you dearly. You will always be with me in all that I do. I will see you at the gates.
