Sandow J. Sam DiGangi On August 7, 2004, of Atco, NJ age 84 yrs. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (nee Paggi). Loving father of RoseAnn Pirollo and her husband Albert of Waterford, Thomas DiGangi and his wife Gloria of W. Berlin, Sandra Purdy and her husband George of Erial, David DiGangi and his wife Teresa of Cedar Brook and Leonard DiGangi and his wife Laurie of Waterford. Dear brother of Beatrice Meloni of Atco and Celie Pitale of Hammonton. Proud Grandfather of Thomas DiGangi, Jr., Daniel DiGangi, David DiGangi, Denise Brandt and Joseph Vogel. Great Grandfather of Nicholas DiGangi and Sophia DiGangi. Mr. DiGangi was a recipient of a Purple Heart, serving as a Staff Sgt. in the US Army during WWII under the 9th Division Infantry. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Tuesday, August 10th, 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco (856) 767-0539 and again on Wednesday, 8:30am to 9:30am. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00am at the Assumption RC Church, 318 Carl Hasselhan Dr., Atco. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin. The family will graciously accept flowers or if desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Alzheimers Assoc., 1100 Lincoln Dr. West, Suite 7, Marlton, NJ 08053 would be appreciated.
