Elaine Ashton (nee Hammond) on October 7th, 2005. Resident of Virtua Health and Rehabilitation Center, Berlin, NJ. Formerly of Cherry Hill, NJ. Age 82. Wife for 55 years of the late Howard (Harry) Ashton. Dear mother of Carol Philpott of Medford Lakes, NJ, Linda Muckensturm of Lauderdale by the Sea, FL and June Morgan of Magolia, TX. Loving grandmother of Steve Philpott, Jodi Vitelli, Jeff Muckensturm and Lauren DiSebastian. Great gradmother to Will, Cole and Dan. Also survived by sons-in-law Steve Philpott, Emil Muckensturm and Bil Kimes, two sisters Marian Wiese and Frances LaCasse and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Ashton was an employee of Bell Telephone and Jack Kellmer Company, Cherry Hill. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family under the direction of LeRoy P.
