Obituary of Joseph DeSilvio Jr.

On November 14, 2005 of Cedar Brook, NJ age 79yrs. Beloved husband of Rita F. (nee Salvo). Loving father of Joseph, III and his wife Angela of Atco, John A. and his wife Patricia A. of Voorhees, Antoinette DiGerolamo and her husband Paul of Winslow, Louis and his wife Kathleen of Sewell, Jeannine Condo and her husband William of Deptford, and Denise Tovinsky and her husband Michael of Mt. Ephraim. Devoted Grandfather of Michelle, Christopher, John, Jr., Danielle, Paul, Jr., Joseph, Daniel, Stephanie, Alyssa, Matthew and Jake. Dear Great Grandfather of Christopher, Jr., Ariel, Makenna, Maura, Samantha and Sofia. Mr. DeSilvio is predeceased by his brothers and sister, Daniel, Louis, Emidio and Carmella. Mr. DeSilvio retired from Local #405 of Philadelphia after 40 years as an iron worker. He then became a Christmas Tree farmer for 26 years. He was a charter member of the Cedar Brook Gun Club, a member of the Knights of Columbus Mater Christi Council of Williamstown, and a past Lieutenant for the Cedar Brook Vol. Fire Co. Mr. DeSilvio also proudly served his country in the Army during World War II. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Sunday evening from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and again Monday morning from 9:00am to 10:15am at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ (856)767-0539. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, 11:00am at Sacred Heart Church, Rte. 73, Cedar Brook.
