Obituary of Thomas H. Anning

On November 22, 2009. A lifelong resident of Atco, NJ age 93yrs. Beloved husband of Edna (nee Mayfield). Survived by Edna's daughter Diana Amaral and her husband Richard and their son Ian of Laurel Springs. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Ida Anning and his nephew Tommy Anning (Ada Mae). Tom was predeceased by his first wife Martha Belle (nee Roper), brother Harold Anning and sister Edith Heath. Tom was a member of the Atco United Methodist Church for 87 years. He was a draftsman by trade and worked for New York Ship Builders and J.J. Henry Company. For 89 years, Tom tended to "Quietude" his 5 acres of Heaven on Earth. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Friday evening from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and again on Saturday morning from 9:00am to 10:00am at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco (856)767-0539. A Funeral service will begin at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Atco Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donation in memory of Tom may be sent to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr. Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
