Obituary of Charles L. Smith Sr.

Charles L. Smith, Sr. On September 29, 2006 of Atco, NJ age 72yrs. Devoted husband of Marie G. (nee Alessio). He will be sadly missed by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and his many relatives and friends. Mr. Smith was a Deacon for the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, in Atco. He was a member of Shanes Council # 7463 Knights of Columbus, Waterford, NJ. He retired from the Philadelphia Police Dept. and Philadelphia Fire Dept. after 25 years of service. He also served his county in the US Air Force. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Wednesday October 4th 3:00pm to 7:15pm at the Assumption RC Church, 318 Carl Hasselhan Dr., Atco, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 7:30pm. Prayers of Final Commendation will be held 10:00am Thursday morning at the church. Entombment, New St. Marys Mausoleum, Bellmawr, NJ.
