Richard F. Rieser
On October 16, 2006 of Hammonton, NJ, age 65yrs. Richard is the loving son of the late Frederick and Erna (nee Kline). He is survived by his beloved wife Sallie (nee Valentino). Devoted father of Sherrie A. Rieser and her husband Brucey Malley of Sweetwater and Kellye A. Martinelli and her husband Gene of Hammonton. Dear brother of Charlie Rieser (Claire) of East Hanover, NJ and their children Lori and Eric. Richard is also survived by his sisters-in-law; Chris Romano of FL, Phyllis Allegrino of Toms River, NJ, Jane Moon of AZ, Marty Prince of FL, and brother-in-law; Joseph Valentino of FL. He will also be missed by many loving nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors, his special friend Don Forvour, and will be sadly missed by Fluffy and Smokey.
Richard was a graduate of R.E.T.S. Electronics School, Class of 1969. He was a lifetime member of the 2nd Amendment Foundation and the NRA.
eHe iRichard owned and operated a Gulf Service Station in 1961. In the late 1970s he worked as a government service contractor and he owned and operated an Exxon Station in Newark, NJ. He then worked for Operating Engineers Local #825 as an electro-hydrolic engineer for Marsellis-Warner for 12 years before going into sales in later years.
The family requests that friends and neighbors dress in casual attire to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, 12noon, at the Batsto United Methodist Church, 5213 Pleasant Mills Rd., Sweetwater, NJ 08037. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Richard may be sent to the Batsto UM Church at the address above.
