Obituary of Donald G. Fish

Donald G. Fish Of Berlin, NJ died Monday October 23rd at Vitas Hospice Care, Kennedy Hospital, Stratford, NJ. He was born in Penns Grove, NJ on November 30, 1925 to Harry G. Fish and Erma Hoss Fish. He was the husband of Martha (Bobbie) Byers Fish. Father of Steven Byers Fish of Bluff Point, NY and Carolann Fish Karlesses of Gibbstown, NJ. Grandfather of Brian Steven Fish, Joseph Joshua Fish, Leah Ann Karlesses, and Zachary James Karlesses. Survived by his sister, Bernice Fish DeBow of Cherry Hill, NJ and a brother Dr. Harry G. Fish, Jr. of Rocky Mount, NC. Don was a graduate of Penns Grove Regional High School, Penns Grove, NJ, Wyoming Seminary, Kingston, PA and attended Duke University, Durham, NC. Don served in the US Navy during World War II from 1944 to 1946 aboard the USS Belleau Wood. Don was employed with Johns Manville until his retirement in 1987. Services and interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Animal Adoption Center, PO Box 4017, Lindenwold, NJ 08021.
