Jim, Adam and the Dick Family: I have had 23 of the most wonderful years of my life working with Nance. She was a wonderful person inside and out and I will miss her tremendously. Every day I look into her office and I could just cry my eyes out. I loved her and always will. She was like a sister to me. she will be deeply missed by everyone especially me. I just thank god that I was a friend to her and her family. Jim if you need me you know how to get in touch. Adam, just cherish all the memories you had with your mom, because she will always be in your heart. She will be watching over you always. Take care of yourselves. If there is anything I can do please dont hesitate to call me. God bless you all. She will be in my heart and remembered always. Love Chris

Greg & Jackie Mohrman posted a condolence
Jim & Adam,
We were your neighbors for 12 years. We were practically still kids when we got married and moved in. This was evident by us making fast friends with an adorable young man that shared Greg's love of anything remote control. Time went by quickly and soon Adam moved on to high jumping BMX bikes and then to low riding automobiles. During that time we came to admire the parents of that young man. Giving guidance through love and discipline we watched Adam mature into a person you could both be proud of. We loved to hear the "colorful" stories of parenting learning experiences. Just as you were learning to let go of your son. We were welcoming ours into the world, and we know how much enjoyment there was watching us make our way as a family. Unfortunately, we moved away two years ago, just before we learned of Nancy's cancer. Our hearts were with you and we truly were saddened by the fact that we could not be there to offer help or lend an ear if needed. You were truly the kind of neighbors everyone would want to have, and we always knew that if we were in need you would be there. Nancy will be remembered by us as a terrific mother, a loving wife and a wonderful neighbor!
You are in our prayers. Jackie & Greg

Nancy was my childhood best friend. From going to the library on Wednesdays and playing Marco Polo, to stopping at the bakery for candy or water ice, to sharing our love of Davey Jones and the Monkees, to loving "Born Free" and dancing with our moms and Uncle Bub, to sewing with Aunt Rainy or just spending time together while reading a good book...she was my dearest and closest buddy. The sixties were truly ours as we rode the streets of Berlin on our bikes, ran wild at the farm or dressed in our halters and bell bottoms. Our paths took her to Franklinville and me to Va Beach, but I will always cherish my memories of my Nancy. I love you, Nanc!

Nancy was one of the nicest people that we have ever met. She always had a kind word for everyone, and loved all of us! Brittany had a very special bond with Nancy, that will never be broken, and I thank God, that Brittany had the chance to love Nancy..just like the rest of us, all had that chance. She is at peace now, and not suffering anymore, and please know, that Chris and I will be here for you, for anything that you need!
