Obituary of Josephine A. Pangia

Josephine A. Pangia (nee Drozdowsky) On November 30, 2006 of Hammonton, NJ (formerly of Atco) age 82yrs. Beloved wife of the late Victor E. Pangia. Devoted mother of John of Merchantville, JoAnne Henshaw & her husband Scott of Nesco, and Victor, Jr. of Atco. Proud grandmother of Viana, Stephanie, Kristina, Lona, Scott, Marla, Janna, Joseph, MikaLyn and Martie. Great grandmother of 6, with 1 more on the way. She is predeceased by her brothers; Frank, Thomas and Edward, and her sisters; Mary Sikora and Jean Goins. In her early years, Josephine devoted her life to raising three children. Later, she and her husband enjoyed traveling, dinners and dancing. She was employed for many years at John Wanamakers in Moorestown. She and her husband also owned Vic Tours Travel. Josephine was a member of Assumption Church while residing in Atco. Upon the death of her husband she made a new life for herself in Hammonton, where she became an active member of St. Anthony of Padua Church. She also enjoyed working as a sales clerk at the Sweetwater Casino gift shop. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Monday from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004 and again on Tuesday morning from 8:30am to 9:15am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Assumption RC Church, 318 Carl Hasselhan Dr., Atco. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations to Mikies Angels (a volunteer group founded by her granddaughter, MikaLyn, for the entertainment of children with Life Threatening Illnesss) or to the Atco Lions Memorial Fund (supporting the continuing education of students who give back to their community), c/o the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home (address above) would be greatly appreciated by the family.
