Obituary of Bernadette M. Chavanon

Bernadette "Bernie" Marie Chavanon, C.R.N.A Age 52, of Philadelphia, PA, died Monday, January 8, 2007. Bernadette was born August 27, 1954 in Germantown, Pennsylvania, to the late Robert J. Dugan and Mary A. Dugan nee Spratt. She is survived by her children, Allison and Adrien Chavanon and her siblings, Loretta Irion, Mark Dugan, Amy Pires, Katie Johnson, and Clare McGrade. She graduated from George Washington High School in Philadelphia in 1972 and graduated Valedictorian from Hahnemann University School of Nursing. She also graduated top of her class from Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center for anesthesia. In 1976 she traveled to Sardinia, Italy to work for Club Med vacation resorts and continued to travel the world for 8 years after. Bernadette lived a wonderful, exciting life and will be loved forever by her family. She enjoyed reading, skydiving and spending time with her children. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with the family on Friday 3:30pm to 5:00pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco (856)767-0539.
