I was very sad yesterday when I opened the Des Moines Register and saw that June had died. I'll never forget watching girls basketball games on TV at your mom and dad's house in Des Moines when I was 8 or 9. Plus, all the great memories camping with all of you at Lake View. June and Rick were the one's who first took me to Noah's. That was a real treat with the live lobsters. And who could forget Rick's laugh! The picture of your mom is exactly how I remember June; always with a big smile and something friendly to say. I'm sure you miss her tremendously and we will, too. God bless her.
