A military funeral and interment will be held on Monday, January 4, 2010, precisely at 12:30 p.m. at the Chapel of the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Rd., Wrightstown, NJ. For information concerning the funeral arrangements, please contact Leroy Wooster at 856-767-0539. Ronnie was born in Philadelphia on August 7, 1940, where he met his wife, Julietta Stocker Levin, at the tender age of nine years. Ron attended West Philadelphia High and completed basic training for the Civil Air Patrol in December 1955 and was a member until his induction in the U.S. Air Force, where he served from 1958 to March 1962. Ron worked for the United States Postal Service for thirty years beginning his career in 1969 and retiring from his position at the Bellmawr Post Office as an 18-wheel tractor trailer operator in 2000. His beloved wife Julie recalls his love of music, especially doo wop, and that he enjoyed singing and dancing, poker and board games, he never lost a Monopoly game and you couldn't beat him at checkers. Ron is affectionately remembered by his friends for his dry wit. "Mr. Ron" didn't say much, but when he did, he told you the truth and didn't say more. Please join us in celebrating his eternal peace in the hereafter.
