Obituary of Dorothy Marie Parsons

Dorothy M. Parsons (nee Woldanski), age 90, left us to live in Paradise on December 27, 2009. Formerly of Trenton, NJ, she moved to the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania, then to Homosassa Springs, FL, and finally to Pitman, NJ. Dorothy is predeceased by her husband, Joseph F. Parsons, her daughter, Sharon Dennis, her brother, Edward Woldanski and sister, Anna Woldanski. She is survived by her sisters Estella Steinouer and Clara Sochalski. She will be deeply missed by her son Joseph R. Parsons (Marion) and son-in-law William Dennis (Jacqueline). She was devoted to and greatly loved by her grandson, David Parsons, and her granddaughters, Nicole Dennis (Jim) and Farrah Dennis. Her face radiated love and joy when she held her new great-grandchildren, Armando Litto and Zoey Kathryn. She had a very special bond with her nephew Kenneth Sochalski. A devout Jehovah's Witness, Dorothy was very active with her congregations while in Trenton and in Florida. Going camping with her family in the Pocono Mountains was one of her favorite activities. Her granddaughters have many wonderful memories of going to Otter Lake in Marshall's Creek, PA with their grandparents and recently took their grandmother back there for a vacation. Services will be private.
