Obituary of Robert Joseph Sassa

ROBERT JOSEPH SASSA Age 77, of Stratford, New Jersey, died suddenly on April 2. Devoted husband and father, he is survived by his wife of 56 years, Joan (Van Blarcom); a daughter, Robin Petty (Robert) of Marlton; a son, Michael Sassa (Cheryl Piehota) of Philadelphia. He is also survived by three grandchildren, John Petty, Avery Sassa and Lydia Sassa; a brother, J. Lawrence Sassa of Jacksonville, Florida, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Sassa was an employee of DeSimone Cadillac for 35 years, and retired in 1998 from J. E. Berkowitz in Bellmawr. He loved motorcycles, riding until the past two years, and was a member of the Silver Wings Motorcycle Club. A visitation with immediate family and friends will be held on Friday, April 6th, from 4pm to 5pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco (856)767-0539.
