Obituary of Gilda Marie Bene

Gilda M. (Jill) Bene (nee DeBenedictis) Of Sicklerville, NJ, age 81yrs. On May 2, 2007 Jill went home to be with her Lord. Beloved wife of Rex A. Bene, Sr. Loving daughter of the late Ezio and Elizabeth DeBenedictis. Devoted mother of Bette Fisher-Mote (Jerry) of Birdsboro, PA, Jeanette Fisher-Dix (Late Jeff) of Williamstown, NJ, Joseph Fisher (Sandy) of Atco, NJ, Rex A. Bene, Jr. (Cindy) of Malvern, PA, Michael Bene (Nicole) of Collingswood, NJ, and Nancy Bene-Robinson (Gary) of Candler, NC. Dear sister of Dorothy Brown of Vicksburg, MS, Francis Caruso of Drexel Hill, PA, and the late Rose Burt, Anna DeBenedictis and Orlando DeBenedictis. Proud grandmother of 16, great grandmother of 28. She will also be sadly missed by many cherished friends. Jill spent her working career at RCA in Moorestown, NJ. She was a longtime member and past president of the Altar and Rosary Society of St. Anthony of Padua in Camden, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Sunday evening from 7pm to 9pm and again Monday morning from 8:30am to 9:15am at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ (856)767-0539. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Monday at Assumption RC Church, 318 Carl Hasselhan Dr., Atco, NJ.
