Obituary of Jennie R. Valenti

Jennie R. Valenti (nee Costantino) on December 30, 2009 of Atco, NJ, age 93 yrs. Beloved wife of the late Samuel S. Valenti. Loving mother of Samuel S. (Buddy) Valenti and his wife Brenda of Williamstown, NJ and Theresa A. (Terri) Valenti of Atco, NJ. Dear grandmother of Sherri Valenti and her husband Vitaliy, Ken Valenti and his wife Liz, and Kristen Valenti. Proud great grandmother of Gabrielle Valenti and Andrew Valenti. She is also survived by her two nephews Tony Cannata and Jim DePasquale. Jennie was a dedicated mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a true "Italian Mother" who supported and took care of her extended family consistently for her entire life. She co-owned Valenti's Market with her late husband Sam from 1950 until 1973. Jennie was also an active member of the Assumption Church. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Monday morning from 9:30am to 11:30am at the Assumption RC Church, 318 Carl Hasselhan Dr., Atco. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00pm. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Jennie to either the Assumption RC Church (address listed above) or to the American Cancer Society, SJ region, 1851 Old Cuthbert Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034 would be appreciated by the family.
