Robert B. Swift, III On June 9, 2007 of Cherry Hill, NJ, age 59yrs. Beloved son of Robert B. Swift, Jr. of Galloway Twp. and the late Jean H. Swift. Dear brother of Carol Bassford and her husband Tom of Galloway Twp. and William A. Swift and his wife Carole of Haddonfield, NJ. Loving uncle of Julie Bassford, Laura Bassford and Kara H. Swift. Bob was a graduate of Cherry Hill High School West, Class of 1966, and Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA, Class of 1970. He played baseball throughout both his high school and college careers. He then taught Health and Physical Education in the Cherry Hill School System for 25yrs. Bob will be fondly remembered by those who knew him for his dedication towards teaching, his love of dogs, cars, and especially his 1957 Corvette. A visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2007 from 6pm to 7pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco (856)767-0539. A Memorial Service will begin at 7pm. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Bob may be sent to the Animal Welfare Assoc., 509 Centennial Blvd., Voorhees, NJ 08043.
