Obituary of Dorothy C. Taccard

Dorothy Clara Taccard Went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, April 7, 2009, surrounded by her family. Dorothy was born on May 10, 1912, in Philadelphia, PA. She had resided for over 40 years down at the Jersey shore in the Villas and was an active member of the Holy Spirit Lutheran Church. Her home for the past 3 years was at The Fountains in Atco, NJ. Dorothy "Dot" was the beloved wife of the late Henry Joseph Taccard. Cherished mother of five sons and their wives, Arthur Clayton & Gerri Taccard of Stratford, Roy Patrick and Joan Taccard of Williamstown, Henry Joseph and Karen Taccard, Jr. of Homosassa, FL, Robert William and Betty Taccard of York, PA, and the late Thomas Walter Taccard. Dorothy was also survived by her devoted sister Dolores Gluck of Philadelphia, PA and 10 loving grandchildren, Kenneth Taccard, Nancy Taccard, Steven Taccard, Debbie Talnagi, Joyce Taccard, Sandee Hoffman, Christine Taccard, Patrick Taccard, Andrew Taccard, and Danny Thomas. She had 15 wonderful great grandchildren who knew her as "Gee Gee", Samuel Maccarelli, Jr., Rebecca Maccarelli Russell, Joseph Maccarelli, Angela Rose Maccarelli, Ashley Hoffman Blackniak, Joshua Hoffman, Andrew Hoffman, Nathaniel Hoffman, Stephanie Taccard, Matthew Taccard, Mark Taccard, Cody Taccard, Aiden Taccard, Rachel Thomas and Reid Thomas.
