Obituary of John M. Shields

John M. Shields Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on August 11, 2007. He was 80 yrs. old and of Hammonton, NJ. Beloved husband of Judith B. (nee Bath). Loving father of Jack Shields and his wife Linda, Michael Shields and his wife Marlene, Robert Shields and his partner Shawn Scott, Tom Syer Jr., and Susan Cavarocchi. Proud Grandfather of Alex, John, Marlene, Tara, Michael, Antoinette, Jaclyn, Nicole and Tyler. John worked for Campbell Soup Co. in Camden for 42 yrs., and proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He loved his summers in Ocean City, Md., and truly enjoyed music and dancing. Friends and relatives are invited to attend Johns viewing on Wednesday from 9am to 11am at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004, (856) 767-0539. His service will be held at 11am and Interment taking place at Germania Cemetery in Egg Harbor, NJ.
