ERNEST L. ZIMMERMAN, JR. On October 3, 2007 of Alloway, NJ (formerly of Blue Anchor, NJ) age 78yrs. Beloved husband of the late Alice R. (nee Bernat). Father of Carol Marie Rigby and her husband Joseph of Fair Hill, MD, Anne Simmons and her husband Clifford of Blue Anchor, Charles H. Zimmerman and his wife Karen of Alloway, Ernest Zimmerman, III of Blue Anchor, Eric Zimmerman of Hammonton and Mary Zimmerman of Blue Anchor. Grandfather of Alison and Kevin Rigby, Ian, Andrew, Caitlin Simmons, Nathaniel, Joshua and Emma Zimmerman and James and Marlies Turnipseed. Brother of Dorothy Kern of Florida, Elizabeth Smith and her husband Marion, Kathryn Gotshall, and Karl Zimmerman all of PA. Uncle of Noelle Phipps-Dal Corso and her husband Arthur of Lumberton. Mr. Zimmerman is also survived by his loving companion, Gertrude Hanson of Collingswood. Mr. Zimmerman was a member of the Collingswood High School Reunion Committee and he enjoyed gardening. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Monday, 9:00 to 11:00am at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. Services will begin at 11:00am. Interment will follow at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Rt. 73, Cedar Brook. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Fox Chase Cancer Center, 333 Cottman Ave., Phila, PA 19111 or to the Holy Redeemer Hospice, 150 Ninth Ave., Runnemede, NJ 08078 would be appreciated.
