Timmy was a great friend to have and was always happy with life and just a great person to be around. I will cherish the memories forever.
Just wanted to share one of many stories that I have of Tim that will always stick with...
One winter hanging out with Tim, after both of us had just got done watching the x-games and it was snowing like a blizzard outside, we decided we wanted to learn how to skateboard. Skateboarding in the snow wasn't the greatest idea, but we didn't care and just wanted to try it and see if we could do some of the tricks. So we found a skateboard lying around his garage and we took it outside and just sat it in the snow. With the snow holding us still (should be a lot easier, right!); we began to try to pull off some tricks. Freezing trying our hardest to look like the pros on the x-games, I would have never of thought either one of us would have pursued this any further, especially after how bad we really were! Tim being the kind of person he is never gave up with it, never got too frustrated, and just stuck with it no matter how hard it was. As time passed by we began to land tricks that I thought were impossible. Tim's attitude/personality inspired me to keep at it, which with out Tim I would have just gave up on it that first day in the snow. Tim was a friend that I looked up to and he will always be there pushing me.
To Tim's family hoping that with in time your pain of your loss will be eased.

Every memory of Tim always has his smiling face attached. Tim went thruogh so much but that smile was always there. I know he is with loved ones and our tears may be selfish. Jane & Bart, you are the BEST, and you allowed Tim to live his life and did not hold him back from having fun. I don't know many people who would have been able to do that. Guy will miss his movie buddy. Tim will always live in our hearts.

Deb Chamberlin posted a condolence
Dear Passarella Family,
I am deeply saddened by the news I just found out about Tim. I am Tim's singing teacher. Some people may not even know he was taking singing lessons. He took his first lesson on Oct. 11, 2007, and his last lesson with me on July 10, 2009. While visiting a friend at CHOP last summer, I had a gut feeling that Tim was there...and I asked the nurse's station, and sure enough, he was in a room, watching a Phillies game with 2 of his buddies. Smiling, not making a big deal about his lousy predicament, and telling me he'd call me as soon as he was ready to come back for another lesson. I last heard from Tim in an email on Jan. 14, 2010. He truly changed my life. I think that being able to sing was one of the things he may have wanted most in life ... and he was patient & determined like nobody I've ever seen. I had the privilege of helping Tim find his voice...and it was truly beautiful. I would very much love to come and meet your family, and tell you some wonderful stories about our lessons together. Please email me if you would like to arrange that. I miss our lessons together, his mischevious smile, and the shared feeling of victory when he mastered a new song. I am a better person for having known Tim, and I will forever carry him in my heart.
Love,
Deb Chamberlin, Gloucester Township
