Obituary of Anna May Smith

Anna May Smith (nee Murphy) age 85yrs., most recently of the NJ Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland, and long time resident of Gibbsboro, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2007. Beloved wife of 55 years to the late Charles Henry Smith. Loving mother of Donna Conway (Jay) of Cinnaminson and Scott Smith (Dottie) of Waterford. Grandmother of Jeffrey and Michael Smith of Waterford. Anna was a twin to the late Kathryn and one of nine children born to the late Howard and Mary Murphy. She is survived by one sister, Eleanor Odenath of Bellmawr. Anna was a devoted wife and mother to her children and a wonderful cook. She will be loved and remembered as a kind-hearted and caring soul with a bold, raucous sense of humor, which she displayed to the final days. Anna will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wednesdays from 10:00am to 11:00am at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco (856)767-0539. Services will begin at 11:00am. Interment, 1st Presbyterian Cemetery, Moorestown, NJ.
