Obituary of Linda J Baksh

(nee Kemble) of Sewell, formerly of Glassboro, passed away on January 20, 2010, shortly before her 57th birthday. Linda was born in Woodbury, NJ. She lived briefly in FL before returning to NJ. As a child she was an unofficial member of the Pine Hill Indians baseball team coached by her Dad. A gentle soul, she always managed to protect her little brother from bullies. She graduated from Overbrook Regional High School in Pine Hill in 1971 and moved to NY where she worked at a theater in Times Square. She was a librarian at Glassboro Public Library for 23 years, where she was proud to be a notary and to run the Book Club, ringing her infamous bell when discussions got out of control. She loved to travel, visiting all over the US (including Alaska), Canada, England, France, Greece, and Turkey. She loved her family, friends, books (especially mysteries), all creatures great and small, bird watching, Monet, eBay, Woot!, and Jackie Chan movies. She is described by everyone whose lives she touched as the sweetest woman who ever lived. Linda is survived by her daughter Megan Kemble and her fiance Eric Day who both adored her, her devoted brother Frank Kemble, her beloved cat Houdini, her best friends Susan Kortonick, Susan Kujawa, and Lynette Milanese, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, and many, many friends. Her daughter Ariana Magdalene and parents Frank and Mildred Kemble (nee Harris) predeceased her. Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Saturday January 30th from 9:00-10:30AM at L.P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ. Interment is at Berlin Cemetery.
