I worked with Jay at the Bellmawr P.O. I served in the Army in Vietnam in 1968 and Jay a few years later. Jay also said that I was the only person he has known since the war that actually had been on his basecamp. Besides, having Vietnam in common, we both loved history and often spoke about the Civil War. I admired Jay's intellect, his strong morals, his family values, and his love of family. He was a role model for other men. I will miss his incredible humor, and the many interesting conversations we had together. My deepest sympathy goes to his family.

Jay was a bright light in a sometimes dark world. It was always an uplifting time to talk to him. His positive spirit and strong faith always made a minute with Jay last much longer. Although he is no longer here, he will be with us always. And I will see him again, praise GOD.

I didn't know Jay long....only a couple years, but what I did learn from him was his deep devotion and love to his immediate family and his church family. Jay seemed to hold the mold of the perfect family man. He touched my son's heart last year when Andrew was rushed to the hospital for a possible heart condition. Jay reached out to him and told Andrew to leave the sicknesses to the old people. I wish Jay had listened to his own advise. He was too young to enter his new life with Jesus. Andrew was deeply hurt by his passing. My deepest sympathy for the Cronk family.
