Obituary of Catherine R. Conlon

Kitty Conlon (nee Kelly) Age 94, wife of the late Thomas Francis Conlon, passed away on June 2, 2008 with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren by her side. Of Hammonton, NJ, formerly a long time resident of Tabernacle, NJ. Beloved mother of Joanne Irwin (Jeep), Lorraine Potts (Elwood), and Thomas Conlon (Eileen). Loving matriarch of a devoted family that included 15 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Kitty was born on June 18, 1913 in Phila, PA. She was one of thirteen children born to parents James and May Kelly (nee Lynch). Kitty enjoyed over 40yrs of her nearly century long life serving as a registered nurse in the emergency room of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Camden, NJ. After retiring at the age of 83, she continued to love life through traveling to Ireland and Virginia, playing the banjo, and spending time with her family. Kittys body has returned to the earth, but her spirit remains in our hearts always. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Friday, June 6th from 9:30am to 10:45am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 178 W. White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am. Interment, Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Berlin, NJ.
