Obituary of Hermine H. Ritchie

(nee Heidinger) Age 82, of Magnolia, NJ, died peacefully on August 17, 2008. Beloved wife of Robert J. Ritchie for 63 years. She was born in Neshaminy Falls, PA and grew up in Philadelphia, where she attended Jones Junior High School and was class president of the 9th grade graduation class, and Kensington High School. She was the devoted mother of her three children: Pamela Henry and her husband Dennis of Springfield, PA, Dr. Robert J. Ritchie, Jr., and his wife Dr. Helen of Eldersberg, MD, and Philip J. Ritchie and his wife Dr. Dawn of Hammonton, NJ. She is survived by a brother, Norman Heidinger of New York City, and eight grandchildren: Eric, Patrick, Danielle, and Kirk Ritchie. Also, Dennis Henry Jr., Philip, Robert, and Mark Ritchie. And one great-grandchild, Caden Snyder. She also considered her cousin Maryann Campbell of Havertown, PA like a sister. Hermine loved shore vacations, crocheting, doing crossword puzzles, and baking cakes and cookies for the grandchildren. Friends and relatives are invited to a celebration of her life on Sunday, August 24 at 2:00pm at the Magnolia United Methodist Church located on the corner of Evesham and Barrett Avenues in Magnolia. Interment will be private.
