Dad, you fought quite a battle for so long. Thankfully now you're at peace. Your grandchildren, Nicholas, Kelsey, Cooper, and Hailey, will remember the things you taught them and the times you spent with them.
Thanks for teaching us how to fish, crab, sail, survive outdoors, and in my case, how to repair just about anything around my house or cars.
May you rest in peace, Love, Nick, Donna, Nicholas, Kelsey and Cooper.

I just heard the bad news from an ex-coworker from my Philadelphia Sign days. I was the draftsman there and John hired me. My very first "real" job. Over the years I was there he was my mentor in many more things then just being a good draftsman. Found John again on his boat, years later with his grandson, on the Sassafras River off the Chesapeake Bay. Still the "olde salt" I remembered and the man who gave me my first ride on a sail boat. You taught me so much, John! I owe you a lot. I'm sure there is sailing in heaven and you're on a beam with 12 knots of wind.
