Obituary of John A. LaGrotta

John Anthony LaGrotta On August 31, 2008 of Cedar Brook, NJ age 87yrs. Beloved husband of Lena (nee Darcangelo) of 61 years. Loving father of Janet Mazzeo and her husband Jack of Hammonton, NJ and Eileen LaGrotta of Cedar Brook, NJ. Cherished grandfather of John Mazzeo, Michael Mazzeo, Deanna Mazzeo-Shimborski and her husband Adam, William Flood, Jr., Brian Flood and Brandon Flood. Brother of Sue DuPuis of Springfield, MA. Mr. LaGrotta was a member of Carpenters Union Local #393 of Westmont, Knights of Columbus Council #3352 of Williamstown and the Cedar Brook Hunting and Fishing Club. He served his country in the United States Air Force (Army Air Corp) during World War II. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Friday, September 5, 2008, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm and again on Saturday from 8:30am to 9:15am at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ (856)767-0539. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, 10:00am at Sacred Heart Church, Rt. 73 in Cedar Brook, NJ.
