Eugene F. Kerr
POP POP, 78 of Metuchen, NJ and Boynton Beach, FL, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2008 at ARMC (Mainland Div.) Galloway, NJ. He was born in New Brunswick, NJ on June 19, 1930, to the late Hugh and Mary (ONeil) Kerr and is predeceased by his sister, Anne Kerr.
Mr. Kerr honorably served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He enjoyed a long time successful career in the Real Estate profession in both NJ and Florida and was a member of the Palm Beach County Board of Realtors for over 30 years.
He is survived by his children Deborah Kerr (Nestor Montalvo) of Metuchen, NJ, Kevin Kerr of Wellington, FL and Karen Kerr of Absecon, NJ; his grandchildren Ryan Montalvo and Meghan and Jeremy Kerr.
Mr. Kerr had a strong faith in God, a 37-year friendship with Bill and Dr. Bob and he lived a simple life of love and service to helping others. Dad will always be remembered for his quick wit, blue eyes, warm smile and his love for a good cup of coffee.
Respecting his wishes there will be no funeral. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Florida to celebrate his life and close the meeting.
