Irving B. Waters On September 15, 2008 of Atco, NJ age 97yrs. Beloved husband of the late Naomi A. (nee Rock) Loving father of Wayne Waters and his wife Bobbie of Lansdale, PA, Kenneth Waters and his wife Nancy of Urbana, OH, Barry Waters and his wife Doris of Lithonia, GA, Dennis Waters and his wife DeeAnn of Atco, NJ, and Sally Leech and her husband Paul of Hammonton, NJ. Grandfather of 11, Great Grandfather of 32, Great Great Grandfather of 2. Mr. Waters is predeceased by his great granddaughter, Kaitlyn Walls. Mr. Waters worked as a life guard at Clementon Lake Park where he met his wife of over 70yrs, Naomi Rock. He graduated from Haddon Hts. HS in 1930. He was a long standing member of Bethel Temple, Phila., PA. Mr. Waters retired from the Phila. Fire Dept. Fire Boat Service as a Capt. He received the Distinguished Service Award for rescuing a man who leaped into the Delaware River at the foot of Columbia Bridge. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday, September 19, 2008, 11:00am to 12:00noon (Irving and Naomis wedding anniversary date) at the LeRoy P.
